Mattis ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Mattis mobile application (the "Service").

Note for Parents: Mattis is a family-friendly game. We take the privacy of children seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

1. Information We Collect

While using our Service, we may collect certain information automatically to provide, maintain, and improve the game experience.

Usage Data

  • Device information (model, operating system version, unique device identifiers).
  • Usage metrics (game sessions, duration, features used, levels completed).
  • In-game events (wins, losses, card interactions).
  • Crash reports and diagnostic data to improve app stability.

Optional Account Recovery and Purchases

If you sign in with Apple or Google to buy hints or restore remaining purchased hints, the app sends a signed identity token to our server. We verify the token and derive a wallet identifier from the provider's account ID. The app stores that account ID on your device to remember sign-in state. Our server stores the wallet identifier, device identifier, hint balance and activity, purchase transaction identifiers, and dates needed to deliver purchases, restore remaining hints, and handle refunds. We do not retain your Apple or Google account name or email address on our server for this feature.

Apple App Store and Google Play process payments. We use RevenueCat to support purchase delivery and reporting. If you contact us for support, we use the information you send to respond.

We use AdMob to display advertisements. These ads help keep the game free to play. AdMob may use your advertising ID to show personalized ads based on your interests.

9. Data Deletion

For optional hint account recovery and purchases, our server stores wallet and device identifiers, hint balance and activity. Uninstalling Mattis does not automatically remove these server-held records. Purchase transaction identifiers and dates are used separately to deliver purchases, restore hints, and handle refunds. Do not email a wallet recovery code or other account secret.
